Nielsen & Christensen - in brief

In 1950 State-authorised Public Accountant N.H. Christensen established an independent office of accountants in the heart of Aalborg. 10 years later another of the city's capable accountants, State-authorised Public Accountant Erik Nielsen, also established his own office.

As a natural result of developments in the 1970s which saw larger units and joint administration etc., the two accountants established a joint office in 1973: "Revisorerne i Hasseris Bymidte", with 9 State-authorised Public Accountants.  

The close and fruitful co-operation which was a feature of the joint office led in 1989 to a formal merger of the two companies. The result of this merger has become the present firm of accountants Nielsen & Christensen.

With our focus on optimising our customers’ finances, Nielsen & Christensen today not only holds a position as the largest firm of accountants in Northern Jutland, but indeed ranks amongst the largest Danish accounting firms. 

Our employees' education and skills are constantly updated with the aim of ensuring that the best possible knowledge is available to our clients.

Our main office is the well-known office building in Hasseris Bymidte, Aalborg. In addition, we have established independent offices in Copenhagen, Støvring, Sæby and Aars.

At Nielsen and Christensen we offer competent consultancy services and a wide range of other services including business information, competence development, commitment and visibility. 

Other services include audit, book-keeping and accounting assistance.

Consultancy concerns especially tax, finances, company law and economy. 

Our independence has a high priority. We therefore have no financial or other interests in the outcome of our consultancy work.

Before beginning a business partnership with a client, agreements are made regarding the nature and scope of our tasks. We are always willing to provide an estimate of the expected fee.

At Nielsen & Christensen all state-authorised public accountants are educated in the general profession, but often develop a degree of specialisation in a particular field through practical tasks and as a result of interdisciplinary co-operation and many years of experience.

RevisorGruppen Danmark is a knowledge based organisation of independent state authorised accounting firms

The organisation was established in 1992 where 13 Danish accounting firms agreed to establish a cooperation.

Today RevisorGruppen Danmark include 19 accounting firms with 47 offices, 165 state authorised accountants and approx. 1,000 employees. 

The basis of the cooperation is an agreement that members of RevisorGruppen Danmark should cooperate to create a high quality in our work.
